In between taking new pictures (thank you Sierra Reese Photography), booking shows (thank you Joshua Jauz/Locus of Chiron), and recording, we've been updating our social media in preparation for the release of our second single, "You Manic (**gasp**)! We hope you'll come out and celebrate with us at Spacebar on November 5th!
In April, we released the first single from our upcoming album. The song is entitled “Big Hand”, mixed by the incredible Shaun Combs! We couldn’t be happier with how it came out! Also, check out the new logo design by our friend Jason Bowler! Lots more news to come, as we continue work on the album and prepare for our July 23rd show at Will’s Pub!
Here is a short clip of what’s to come:

We are very happy to announce that we will be playing the Fringe Festival this year as a part of the Jambando event! Each of these events on their own are amazing, so combined…oh yeah…it will be a good night. We go on at 8PM but, you will definitely want to come early and stay late to catch ALL the music…I know I will. The Fringe Festival has been awesome so far (I’ve been there more than a few nights) - the vibe, food, performances, and music have been great…I could go on but this post would be way too long for a glance…so check out the details below!
Fellow supporters of our vibrant local music scene, the date is set! We will be celebrating the official release of the debut Wheeler Newman and CRC album Poor and Happy. We have a stupidly good lineup in store for you all and it is sure to be an amazing and memorable night of music! Local singer/songwriter Stephen Rock kicks things off with his super cool, quirky, impassioned brand of folk n' roll, accompanied by Orlando's very own guitarist extraordinaire Brian Chodorcoff, who will sprinkle his unique brand of six string fairy dust all over Stephen's vocals and acoustic rhythmic stylings. Next we will take the stage, playing songs from both the album release in question as well as some numbers for the follow-up record (yes we are already looking ahead for when the band eventually returns to the studio!) And we have an excellent surprise in store for our set, which you'll have to attend in order to find out what it is. Then, to finish off the night, local Neil Young cover band Prisoners of Rock and Roll (of which Chodorcoff is a member) takes over and plays a set of tunes by one of our favorite and most enduring artists of our time, and an undeniably massive influence on WN & CRC. We can't wait! Hope to see you there! *Join the Facebook Event Page*
